Zagora Camel Trekking

Our company Epic Zagora Tours based in Zagora organizes CAMEL TREKKING in biggest Sahara desert. We start camel trekking for the night in desert from Draa valley to the sand dunes. We take all needs food, blankets and everything we will need on camels. It takes from two to three hours for each day, and surely that depends also on your request.

Our driver and guide pick you up from the airport to your Hotel/Riad. On the second day you will have departure early morning to Zagora desert via High Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley, the longest valley in Morocco.

Day 1:

Departure early morning from Bni Ali Oisis direction to Imi-N-Ougni. Afterwards we will have Three hours walking or camel ride followed by lunch BR break. Then two more hours walking or camels riding as you want. Overnight in a nomad camp.

Day 2:

The next day,you will have a refreshing  breakfast at Imi-N-Ougni before starting  your desert journey through beautiful landscapes. Here you could either ride on camels or walk on your feet along with your berber guide.The trip will last for three hours till lunch time.afterwards we continue  to reach a place called  Boygaywarn where a delicious tagine will be prepared upon your arrival for dinner. Overnight camping under the starry sky.

Day 3: Zagora Camel Trekking

Your adventure starts by heading towards Tidri after breakfast at Boygaywarn. On the off-road, you will meet nomads who are still living in the typical brown tents. Overnight in a camp

Day 4: Zagora Camel Trekking

Departure from Tidri to reach Erg Sahel, and overnight under the stars in a typical Berber camp.

Day 5: 

You could spend the entire day traversing the sand dunes and then spend the night in Erg Bono.

Day 6: 

Arrival at Ras Nakhla sand dunes and overnight in a Berber camp.

Day 7:

Arrival at Oued Naâm (the Ostrich valley). Overnight in a nomad camp under a starry sky in the open air.

Day 8: 

Departure from bivouac to Boguarn. The end of your adventure.
