Day1: casablanca, Rabat, Meknes and Fez(Imperial cities desert tours)
Your guide will pick you up at M. V Airport or hotel in Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque. Next, we continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco and visit the The ruins of Chellah and Hassan Tower. After that, we drive to Meknes, which includes El Hdim Square, Bab el Mansour, the Royal Granaries, and the city rampart before we head to Fez, where we will have dinner and spend the night in a hotel or riad.
Day2: Exploring Fez(Imperial cities desert tours)
Your full-day will be in Fez, with a guided tour to discover the medina and the famous Souks of Fes. Next, you will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments in Fes. Additionally, your tour will include a stop at a tannery and a ceramic cooperative where you can see authentic Moroccan crafts being made.
Day 3: Fes, Middelt, Azrou, Ziz Valley and Merzouga (camel trek & Night in Sahara)
After breakfast, we’ll set out for Midelte via Ifrane and Azrou, which is covered in a cedar forest and home to wild monkeys. So, we could take lovely photos with them, and lunch will be at Zaida or Middelt. After that, we drive to Ziz Valley via the Atlas Mountains and enjoy seeing the landscapes of Midelte. Then, we head straight to Erfoud city and the Oasis of Tafilalet, where there is an old souk. Thus, we continue to Merzouga, where you will ride camels and spend a night in the desert
Day 4: Erg Chebbi tour, Nomads and Merzouga (Imperial cities desert tours)
After enjoying breakfast and taking pictures of the sunrise, we will begin our tour of the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Here, we will learn about the nomadic culture of the area, interact with locals who still live in tents, and enjoy drinking tea with them. Following that, we ride camels to attend a Gnaoua music performance and then return to the hotel to unwind.
Day 5: Merzouga, Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges and Dades Boumalane.
After witnessing the sunrise, we will depart Merzouga and travel to Dades passing by Erfoud, which is known for its fossil products, and Rissani, which is known for its old traditional market. Afterwards, we continue to Tinghir through Tinjdad and enjoy seeing Berber villages beside the road. Moreover, we will discover Todra Gorges where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport in this area. Then, we drive to Boumalne Dades and overnight will be there.
Day 6: Dades, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Tizi N™tichka and Marrakech.
After having breakfast and taking a shower in the hotel, we will depart for Ouarzazate. We stop at Berber villages along the way and shops selling fossils, carpets, and lamps before arriving in Ouarzazate in the evening after passing the Skoura oasis. Next, we continue to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and many movies have been filmed there, such as Gladiator (2000), The Mummy (1999) and Babel (2006). Crossing the mountains via Tizi N-ticka which reaches an altitude of 2260 m above sea level and is the highest major mountain pass in North Africa.
Day 7: Exploring Marrakech (Imperial cities desert tours)
You will have a guided tour to discover the medina (the Red City). You will visit with us the most important places of historical and cultural interest. Such as the Saadien tombs, the palaces of El Bahia and El Badi. Next, we move to the Ben Youssef Coranique School. In the afternoon,we will visit the gardens of Majorelle, the Menara, and the Koutoubia Tower, then get you back to your hotel or Riad.
Day 8. Marrakech to Airport (last day in your imperial cities desert tours)
The imperial cities’ desert tours come to an end at this point, after you have had fun and amused yourself, learned about Moroccan history by visiting historical sites, and experienced the various lifestyles of the country’s citizens.
On this day, after enjoying a refreshing breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport in Marrakech or Casablanca.
