DAY 1 :ARRIVAL TO MARRAKECH AIRPORT TRANSFER TO HOTEL.

DAY 2 :MARRAKECH-OUARZAZATE

Leave Marrakech for Sidi Rahal, the first mine on your Morocco geo tours rich in quartz chalcedonies, amethyst, and agate, and enjoy an afternoon lunch with the miner as you climb the high Atlas. Then we’ll spend the night at the hotel in Ouarazazate.

DAY 3 : OUARZAZATE-ALNIF

After breakfast, depart from Ouarzazate for a scenic drive through the Draa Valley. Stop at the Ordovician site of Beni Zoli, which is rich in large portions of massive trilobites. Picnic on the site, then drive further to Serradrar; explore Silurian site, collect black Orthoceras, and spend the evening in a tiny hotel in Alnif.

DAY 4 :ALNIF-ALNIF

After breakfast, depart from Alnif to explore the Cambrian site noted for its large yellowish trilobites, then picnic in the Oasis before visiting the Ordovician site of Jbel Tiskaouine, which is rich in calymenes and flexycalymenes. Back in the same hotel in the evening.

DAY 5 :ALNIF-MHARCH

Breakfast in the morning, then Head for Isoumour’s outstanding trilobites post paradise. Where all Devonian trilobite species coexisted. Gather rolled phacops. Picnic on the site and head to Atchana site also Devonian but in flat not a mountain.After we will collect red ammonites in Lakrabis. Evening at M’harch in nice Oasis in the desert.

DAY 6 :MHARCH-MERZOUGA

After breakfast, depart for Mecessi to collect Devonian trilobites at Lalla Mimouna and then to Jbel Mdawar to gather Devonian goniatites. Picnic there before heading to the Merzouga Erg Chebbi beautiful sand dunes. Evening in a modest, beautiful hotel in Merzouga.

DAY 7 :MERZOUGA-MERZOUGA

After breakfast, depart for Taouz and visit the famed Kemkem site, which is rich in fish crocodiles, and spinosaurus bones and teeth. Then go to the Boutariyt site and collect echinoderms. Picnic in the old Filon 12 mine, noted for its vanadinites, quartz, and goethite. Then return to Merzouga via Mifis’ old laid mine.

DAY 8 : MERZOUGA-MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we leave Merzouga  to  Azourz site, where we will collect black Devonian pyritised goniatites. Then  trilobites at the Tisket site. Picnic in the sacred Oasis, and visit a working Barythe mine. In the  Afternoon,  we will collect sand flowers formed of gypsum and sand, as well as bites of bones and vertebrae before returning  to Merzouga hotel.

DAY 9 : MERZOUGA-ERFOUD

Visit the famed Devonian formation of Hamarlaghdad, which is rich in corals, bivalves, brachiopods, speripheres, and trilobites, and then go to Jbel Boutchrafine to collect rolled trilobites. Picnic on the site, then see the crinoids extraction site, then travel to Erfoud to see the factory where all large blocs are cut and produced into table tops, sinks, book ends, ornamental objects. Spend the evening in Erfoud city.

DAY 10 : ERFOUD-MIDELT

Drive across the High Atlas Mountains to the phosphate area of Oued Zem, famous for its shark teeth, and spend the night at a hotel.

DAY 11 : MIDELT-MIDELT

Departure to see Mibladen’s old mine, which is rich in cerusite barythe and vanadinite, which is difficult to discover due to very deep and dangerous mining. Afterwards, we will visit Ahouli’s old miner’s settlement for lunch before heading to Sidi Ayad to collect azurite and malachite. Then we head straight to Midelt for the  Overnight at the  hotel.

DAY 12 : MIDELT-OUARZAZATE

The way back Midelt to Ouarzazate. Stop at Todgha gorges before continuing to Dades gorges for enjoying a delicious lunch meal. Heading then to Ouarzazate for the night.

DAY 13 : OUARZAZATE-MARRAKECH

On the this stage of our adventurous tour, we drive back to Marrakech to visit the dinosaur foot prints in Azilal and spend the night. Next morning we will visit Ouzoud waterfalls before taking the road back to Marrakech/Casablanca. The End of Geo- Tour in Morocco.
