Trip from Fez to Desert and back to Fes or end in Marrakech!
Epic Zagora Tours offers Desert Tours from Fes to the Desert and to Marrakech. We offer cultural tours of Morocco, Sahara desert tours with camel trekking. We will welcome you and give you a private tour of the region’s top attractions, which will include the Atlas Mountains, the Gorges, the Valleys, the Kasbah Trail, the Palm Groves, the Old Kasbahs, the Countryside, the Berber Villages, and the Sahara Desert, where you will go on a camel trek and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 1: Fes, Middelt, Azrou, Ziz Valley and Merzouga (camel trek & Night in Sahara).
Arrival in Fez, The guide is going to pick you up from the airport and take you to your Riad/Hotel. After breakfast, our journey will start to Midelte, passing via Ifrane to Azrou which is blanketed by cedar forest where there are wild monkeys. You will be able to take lovely photos there. Lunch at Zaida or Midelt. After that, we drive to Ziz Valley through the Atlas Mountains and enjoy the landscapes of Midelte. Then, we go ahead to Erfoud city and Oasis Tafilalet, where there is an old’souk’. We continue to Merzouga, where you will have the pleasure of riding camels and spending night in the desert.
Day 2: Erg Chebbi tour, Nomads and Merzouga.
After capturing sunrise photos and eating breakfast, our tour will continue to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you will learn about the fascinating lifestyle of nomads and meet locals who are still using tents as their primary form of accommodation. They will make tea for you, and you will enjoy their company. Before taking a camel ride to the hotel, you can enjoy some Gnaoua music as well.
Day 3: Merzouga, Rissani, Erfoud, Valley Ziz, Middlet, Azrou and Fes.
We will return to Fez via Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty, after taking in the sunrise and eating breakfast. The fossil-rich Erfoud is our next stop, after which we’ll carry on by passing through the Ziz Valley, Midelte, Azrou, and Fez.
