Desert tour from Fez:

Day 1: Fes, Middelt, Azrou, Ziz Valley and Merzouga (camel trek & Night in Sahara desrt)

Our guide is going to pick you up from the airport to your Riad/Hotel, and second you start your

Tour of the desert from Fez. After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Midelte, passing through Ifrane and Azrou, which are covered in cedar forest and home to wild monkeys, and where you will have the opportunity to take beautiful photographs. Lunch will be served at either Zaida or Midelte. Following that, we drive to Ziz Valley via the Atlas Mountains, taking in the Midelte landscapes. Then we continue on to Erfoud city and the Oasis Tafilalet, which has an old ‘souk’. After all that, we continue to Merzouga where you will ride camels and spend the night in the desert under the stars.

Day 2: Erg Chebbi tour, Nomads and Merzouga.

After photographing the sunrise and eating breakfast, our tour will continue to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you will discover the beauty of nature, the nomadic lifestyle, and meet local people who still live in tents, with whom we will share drinking tea. After that, we join’ Gnawa’ people to listen to their music. We then return to the hotel for a relaxing.

Day 3: Merzouga, Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges and Dades Boumalane.

We will leave Merzouga and travel to Dades passing by the city of Rissani, known for its old traditional market, and Erfoud, known for its fossils. Afterward, we take the road to Tinghir, stopping to admire Berber villages along the way. We’ll also visit the Todra Gorges, where many rock climbers come to enjoy the sport of climbing. Then we drive to Boumalne Dades for the night.

Day 4: Dades, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, Tizi N’tichka and Marrakech.

We will have departure after your breakfast, our journey will continue to Ouarzazate. On the way we will visit the Berber villages and shops containing fossils, carpets and lamps… We’ll continue on to Ouarzazate, where we should arrive by evening after passing through the Skoura oasis. Then we continue to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films were shot there, including Gladiator (2000), Mummy (1999), and Babel (2006). We continue on to Marrakech via Tizi N’ticka, North Africa’s highest major mountain pass at 2260 meters above sea level.
