Day 1: Arrival in Marrakesh.
Transfer from the airport to your hotel in the heart of the medina, near Jemâa el Fna square. Depending on your arrival time you will visit the city on the first or the last day. In other words, Marrakech is a magical city. As well as, don’t miss going to the main square because it is the most visited area in Marrakech especially at night. To put in other words, if you would like to take pictures, you are required to pay them tips. Therefore, it is required to have some Moroccan money exchange and roughly is required to have 20 to 30 MAD and 2 to 3 USD for each picture.
Day 2: Marrakech – Telouet – Ounila Valley – Ait Ben Haddou.
Today, we will drive to the Southeast of Morocco, especially Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, listed under UNESCO since 1987 and many films have filmed there. As well, we will continue driving to the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m) , a road where all the views are beautiful. In other words, Telouet (1880m) for our first pedal strokes on the old Southern caravan track and cultivated terraces, numerous kasbahs, adobe villages, and Berber residents who welcome guests.
Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Roses Valley and a thousand Kasbahs.
Today, we will continue driving to Rose’s valley to reach the foothills of the Atlas Mountains after the palm grove of Skoura village, a beautiful mountain biking day. After a large desert valley with strong hues, narrow green valley’s along water Wadi. In other words, the Terraced, gardens and many villages with ochre-red adobe houses. Ending at Bou Tgharar.
Day 4 –Rose Valley – Mythical Dades VALLEY – DJEBEL SAGHRO
An ochre-red morning: desert of Aït Youl with stop at the nomads – and rich Dades valley with majestic kasbahs. We will drive in 4×4 short connections to reach Iknioun in the heart of Jebel Saghro. Everything is different there! Such as, the landscapes, the colors, the way of living. In the afternoon black mountains with golden reflections, a small pass and valleys to Kadem.
Day 5 – SAGHRO-PRESAHARA-SMALL DUNES OF ZAGORA
End of the Saghro, the quiet track descends to Alnif by Small 4×4 connections to Tazzarine following the mountains. In the afternoon, a pre-Saharan trail, a few tiny villages, small oasis, nomadic families with their herds. In other words, Discovery of the rock carvings of Aït Ouasik. We will spend a night bivouac under nomadic tents by the sand dunes. Campfire, if it is not windy.
Day 6 – PALM GARDENS AND KSOUR OF THE DRAA VALLEY – ANTI – ATLAS
A day of riding in the palm groves of the Draa Valley including the Kasbahs and beautiful villages in ochre-yellow adobe. At the end of the afternoon, in 4×4 crossing of the Anti-Atlas, chaos of basaltic rocks and scattered villages. Then, we will spend a night in a guesthouse with a swimming pool, surrounded by nature in the Anti-Atlas. 80km of track, you can ride whatever you want.
Day 7 – OASIS OF FINN-TIZI N’TICHKA-MARRAKECH.
Great last morning of mountain biking. We leave our guesthouse and follow the track that runs along the palm trees to the villages of the wonderful little oasis of Fint. We cross them before leaving the canyon to join the road crossing the Reg. 3 hours of driving without counting the lunch stop near the Tichka pass. This road is always a delight.
Day 8 : EXPLORING MARRAKECH
If you did not have time to visit Marrakech on the day of your arrival, no doubt you will have time to stroll there on the last day. Transfer to the airport scheduled 2.5 hours before the flight.
