8 Days Marrakech to Sahara Desert Tour Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech City Tour

After breakfast, start your Marrakech guided city tour. Visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, and the peaceful Menara Gardens. See the famous Koutoubia Mosque and its tall minaret. In the afternoon, walk through the lively Jamaa El Fna Square, full of storytellers, food stalls, and musicians.
Overnight in a traditional Riad in Marrakech.

Day 2Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with stops for photos. Visit the old Telouet Kasbah, then continue to the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for many movies. After lunch, head to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the film studios.
