Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Tour schedule may adjust depending on arrival time.
Day 2: Marrakech – Sidi Rahal – Ait Ben Haddou
Begin your Morocco fossil & mineral tour with a drive into the High Atlas Mountains.
Stop at Sidi Rahal, a mineral-rich area known for quartz, chalcedony, amethyst, and agate.
Lunch with a local miner before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou, where you spend the night.
Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Alnif

Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue to a stromatolite site.
Drive through the beautiful Draa Valley to Serradrar and explore a Silurian site with black Orthoceras fossils. Overnight in Alnif, a key hub for fossil tours in Morocco.
Day 4: Alnif –Â Ordovician & Cambrian Sites – Alnif
Explore a Cambrian site famous for large yellow trilobites.
Picnic in a desert oasis, then visit Jbel Tiskaouine, an Ordovician site rich in Calymene and Flexicalymene trilobites. Return to Alnif.
Day 5: Alnif – Isoumour – M’harch

Day 7: Merzouga – Kem Kem – Merzouga

Visit a working baryte mine, then collect gypsum sand flowers and desert vertebrate fragments. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 9: Merzouga – Erfoud
Explore Hamarlaghdad, rich in Devonian corals, brachiopods, trilobites, and crinoids.
Visit Jbel Boutchrafine for rolled trilobites. In Erfoud, tour a fossil-processing workshop. Overnight in Erfoud.
Day 10: Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt
